A gentle piece, written by Victor Canning in 1932. The recently retired Mr Finchley - played by Richard Griffiths - is looking for a new house in the Kent countryside and thus, to aid his search, decides to buy a horse drawn caravan (think of Mr Toad). As he moves through Kent, he has some gentle adventures and meets some very eccentric people.
