2 x 15 mins Before World War 2 it was common for farmers to bring their sheep to the London parks each summer, to help keep the grass short. Indeed, there was considerable cachet attaching to to the shepherds in being selected. In these two stories, an imaginary Scottish shepherd meets first John Logie Baird, the inventor of TV and secondly the children at an outdoor hospital, themselves another forgotten piece of social history. Two nicely written stories.
