Dennis Potter is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest screenwriters ever; I have got lots of good Potter from TPB, now I am pleased to give something back. 

Potter's hobbyhorses are in evidence here - his love of popular music, his concern with the meshing of fantasy and reality, his image of a wildly fictional America.
