Mark Hopkins and Mike Bradley were two teenagers who wrote and recorded a DIY LP in 1973. According to Mike's account, they were 18 and recorded the songs on a Wollensak tape recorder in the Bradley house, using the family piano. Mike was the pianist, and they both played guitar and sang.

They took the tape to Boddie and pressed about 200 copies, with no cover. They sent copies to WMMS and a couple other radio stations looking to get some play but nothing happened. According to Mike, most of them were given away.

The music is influenced by the Beatles and Paul McCartney, along with more direct folk. The record was reissued in 2008 with info by Mike Bradley.

Michael Bradley continued to be an active musician. He was playing solo and duo gigs (with a different partner) in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In the late 1980s he joined the well known Cleveland jam band Oroboros. We couldn't find any more references for Mark Hopkins
