Nine Sols takes us on a journey to an original world that combines elements taken from Taoism and Far Eastern mythology with solutions typical of cyberpunk. The game takes place in the so-called New Kunlun - a kingdom protected by sacred rituals, whose inhabitants worship ancient deities. During the game, we play as Yi - a forgotten hero burning with revenge against the divine rulers of this land. Over time, we learn more and more about New Kunlun, learning the dark secrets of its builders.

In Nine Sols we watch the action from the side. The first violin during the game is played by clashes with opponents. When designing the combat system, the authors drew inspiration from the best-selling Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. During skirmishes, we must demonstrate dexterity and reflexes to deflect enemy attacks in time and perform lightning-fast counterattacks; In addition, we have at our disposal a magical talisman that allows us to eliminate enemies in a truly explosive style, as well as a bow that allows us to eliminate them from a safe distance. In addition to regular opponents, there are much more powerful bosses on our way, defeating them requires knowing their movement patterns and discovering their weaknesses.

Exploring New Kunlun also involves jumping on platforms and avoiding traps, as well as interacting with its inhabitants. It is worth talking to the NPC, because in this way we gain access to new skills and various improvements that increase our combat potential.
