This is the 2023 Korean comedy/medical TV drama series, Korean name "닥터 차정숙," also known as "Doctor Cha Jeong Suk," "Dr. Cha Jung Sook," and "Doctor Cha Jung Sook." From MyDramaList: https://mydramalist.com/718109-doctor-cha-jung-sook "Cha Jung-sook is married to Seo In-ho, who works as a chief surgeon at a university hospital. He has a strict, sensitive, and thoroughgoing personality. Cha Jung-sook has been a full-time housewife for 20 years, giving up her career as a doctor during her medical resident years. After all those years, she decides to restart her medical resident course." Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doctor_Cha IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt27075857 AsianWiki: https://asianwiki.com/Doctor_Cha This is the complete set of 16 episodes which run between 61 and 65 minutes each. They all have edited "soft" English captions; that is, English subtitles are part of the MKV file and the subtitles can be enabled or disabled as you wish. I downloaded the source videos named like "Doctor.Cha.S01E01.1080p.NF.WEB-DL.AAC2.0.x264-HBO [DRAMADAY.me].mkv" and extracted the subtitles from those. Then I... - Used Subtitle Edit (by Nikolaj Lynge Olsson) to find and fix all flagged issues - Watched the series and italicized music lyrics, characters' thoughts, short flashbacks, and some off-screen dialogue; also color-coded some subtitles for clarity as appropriate, using yellow, teal, and salmon colors for signs, flashbacks, and written/printed material - Added 0.7 second to each subtitle (where possible) to allow more time to read them - "Softened" all subtitled profanity (bastard --> jerk, damn --> darn, bitch --> wench etc.) - Corrected commonly-found typos, also converting many word pairs into their common English contractions - Used Handbrake to create new MKV files using my subtitles, trimming off the obnoxious Netflix splash logo from the start & end Format: MKV Format info: Audio Video Interleave Total file sizes: 18.8 GB (20,229 MB) Total duration: 16 hours, 27 minutes, 3 seconds Overall bitrate: 2728 Kbps Video format: MKV Video Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1) Video bitrate: 2600 Kbps (2-pass) Video width: 1920 pixels Video height: 816 pixels Video frame rate: 23.976 fps Video decoded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV Video scan type: Progressive Audio format: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a) Audio language: Korean Audio bitrate mode: Constant Audio bitrate: 128 Kbps Audio channel(s): 2 Audio sampling rate: 48 KHz Subtitles: English as soft captions - feel free to rip & use or distribute as you wish
