The Australian Concert For Bangladesh

Firstly, absolutely nothing to do with The Concert for Bangladesh,
at Madison Square Garden 1971.

This was an Australian Event to support the freedom from Hunger Campaign for Bangladesh in 1975.

Very little seems to be known about this Concert, even down to how much money was raised,
doesn't seem to be a huge crowd, and some of the bigger acts on the bill are missing from this broadcast.

I was only 10 years old in 1975, but I think its fair to say that around this time Australians finally started to realise we didn't
have to just copy British and American Acts we could be ourselves, warts and all, but I think it shows, with the acts featured here,
not quite confident all the time.....yet.

Oh, and of course the Sidney Myer Music Bowl is in Melbourne, not Sydney, as Sidney Myer is the name of the person the venue is named after,
not the city of Sydney......LOL.
