Alone (Again) is a solo piano album by American jazz pianist Bill Evans, recorded in December 1975 but not released until 1977 on Fantasy Records. To paraphrase President Kennedy's famous remark about Thomas Jefferson dining alone, when Bill Evans played solo piano there had never been such a gathering of intellect, ability, and expressiveness at a keyboard. A successor to Alone, for which he won a Grammy, Alone (Again) highlights all of Evans's strength: his exquisitely balanced time, the depth of his harmonic genius, the inimitable singing quality of his phrasing. His producers say that it was difficult to get Evans to record by himself. He claimed it was his one area of performance insecurity. Perhaps he was concerned about revealing as much of himself as he does in these pieces. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tracklist: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 01 - The Touch Of Your Lips 02 - In Your Own Sweet Way 03 - Make Someone Happy 04 - What Kind Of Fool Am I 05 - People *1975, 2012 Fantasy / Concord / Universal Japan | UCCO-90132 Personnel: Bill Evans - piano Enjoy and Sharing, Thanks!
