Program extras include music from the Soundtrack and the genre of music of the Soundtrack additionally,
plus in addition an important discussion on the message of the movie as intended by the Director at the time Martin Scorsese and the views echoed mainly by actors and players involved along with great moments of seeing a serious Mr. Robert De Niro interviewed too on issues related that are touched on with him.

This important movie looks at the various mob-like mentalities which were formed or in any event in reality a fact of life in the US, including those we refer to as the "Bush mindset" (of whom Director Scorsese wouldn't seem a stranger with his views I venture to say) then the more current seeming supported various camps based on sexual orientation other than traditional, and race based groups seeking to prevail over the previous balance of things in relative power shifts being sought to be accomplished with various camps allied
along the way, and then certainly the various racial groupings and cultural belongings bringing mindsets together - Italians are seeming to be depicted in this movie however aside from our greatest of heroes - Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in various movies in the main, the real caliber of talent of which these greatest of men are made are rarely adequately supported or mirrored by co-actors that are picked or scripted often with negativity being
the focus. As such it is in fact an unfair depiction of what is in fact actually the core being and the core merit of a mindset being misrepresented (such as I submit, Scorsese's own ideas in describing others as having an "evil streak" in a generality he cannot assume to attach to our best - and must therefore stick to what he knows and be fair in this respect, describing his own demons that he battles with in his own mind instead it would appear,
based on his admissions on the clip included for you here.

The clear indication of a greatest male hero has always been for keen impartial and most
fair minded observers the real stuff of the best of the genre - as depicted in the closing arguments in the courtroom drama "And Justice for all" (starring the greatest Mr. Al Pacino - Mr. Robert De Niro would do at least as well, I daresay) . This is a more useful role and character to look at if you truly want to make a case on the merits of the true Italians rather than having Scorsese pick his own "choice of weapons" in scripting as he sees fit, casting as he sees fit and then generalizing along with his scripted interviewees seeming
in what seems a hatchet job which clearly smacks of bigotry against the best of such men as I point out here in actually being who they are when rightly picked for the role models they actually represent based on who they are ultimately.
