Plot:
The film follows on immediately from the events of the first film, and is rooted in a subplot of the original novel, Frankenstein (1818). In the film, a chastened Henry Frankenstein abandons his plans to create life, only to be tempted and finally coerced by the Monster, encouraged by Henry's old mentor Dr Pretorius, into constructing a mate for him.

Trama:
La creatura, scampata all'incendio del mulino, continua a vagabondare per le campagne. Il dottor Henry Frankenstein (Colin Clive), scampato alla morte, giura alla compagna che mai più avrebbe ripreso i suoi folli esperimenti, se non che un giorno il dottor Pretorius, suo antico insegnante, gli fa visita e gli propone di dar vita ad una nuova razza di uomini artificiali donando alla creatura una sposa.

Argumento:
Secuela de Frankenstein (1931) donde el hombre sigue jugando lóbregamente a ser Dios sin medir las consecuencias de sus actos, manipulando polémicos conceptos científicos que le son vedados éticamente y que derivan en situaciones sumamente absorbentes desde el aspecto sobrenatural que irrumpe con ellas. Esta cinta cautiva por su dinamismo, porque es intensa de principio a fin con una narración que combina muy buenos ratos de terror (hoy día naíf en su carácter) y algunos toques cómicos.
