The richest woman in the world (Sophia Loren) won't find happiness unless she 

finds true love, being miserable in her marriage. When she meets a meek Indian 

doctor (Peter Sellers), devoted to treating the poor, she realizes he's the 

man for her, but winning him over is not an easy task.
