It is a result of a succession of hyped and overheated bubbles bursting—the dot.com, real estate, mortgage and credit bubbles, followed by bubbles in collectibles, oil, agriculture, metals, consumer goods, stocks and other assets. Each of these bubbles created untold wealth for Wall Street’s billionaire speculators. The last bubble to burst will be the gigantic, artificially created Money Bubble—the result of the Fed and Treasury throwing some $8.4 trillion into the lap of the greedy global bankers.
