Channel 4 TV production of the Spanish Classic, with the inimitable Glenda Jackson in the title role. This is much better than the Irene Gutierrez version, becuse it retains the sense of claustrophobia rather than opening it up cinematically. Theatre devotees will also recognize Joan Plowright and other famous names.
