VBE2 doesn't allow adjust refresh rate. * N Mb of RAM for Shadow buffer 3.0 Installation over SDDGRAD _____________________________ !!! There is no need to reset to VGA !!! If using IBM VGA then install SDDGRAD (Alt-F1 -> G, Reset to IBM Gradd) If SNAP or GENGRAD is already installed then * copy VBE2GRAD.DLL to x:os2dll copy PANOGREX.DLL to x:os2dll copy GRADD.SYS to x:os2 * modify CONFIG.SYS: change SET C1=SDDGRADD SET GREEXT=SDDGREXT to SET C1=VBE2GRAD SET GREEXT=PANOGREX * Remove SNAP stuff: rem device=x:os2sddhelp.sys Delete the file x:os2svgadata.pmi or modify it: change #includecode "sddpmi.dll" to #includecode "genpmi.dll" * How to convince that VBE2GRAD is loaded? * x:os2installgradd.log should contain: "Module VBE2GRAD loaded successfully" * Capabilities button should be enabled * Setup: * shadow buffer is disabled by default.
