No Swedish subs found as yet - sorry - will post when we find them. Inherit the Wind is one of the most important movies ever produced - and with profound repercussions for the possible various outcomes in regards to the future of the human race on this planet The movie asks the question "what views should we allow to be propagated in our communities in respect of such matters as morality, religion and common sense basically speaking I would say in addition to it all at the end of the day?" In the particular case the movie opens with, a school teacher in "small town" America is charged with false teachings in suggesting Darwinsim should be looked at as an alternative teaching to Creationism as expounded by the major world religions See our recent posting on the movie "My father my lord" which we made to promote our own position on the matters that arise when looking at some of what has previously been taught and apparently continues to be so unchallenged otherwise by others it would seem at this point on such items as the extent to which man should obey or allow to be thought legitimate to obey in such circumstances as described in the review what are clearly views that go against conscience for those not religiously indoctrinated in a particular faith such as those indicated in the review I believe. At the end of the day, it is my view that we should allow all reasonable discussion which could only involve right minded people of clear merit (objectively speaking) who are therefore most clearly in full command of their sane human faculties and certainly with genuine goodness too at their core - and reject all else in our midst as not humanism as it should be and therefore of no worth for what should remain expressed or held as a surviving belief anywhere on this planet of ours in respect to such views I say.
