Spurs host a Huddersfield Town side whose relegation has already been confirmed, while United entertain mid-table West Ham at Old Trafford. Elsewhere, there is a potential relegation six-pointer between Cardiff and Burnley, while Brighton host Bournemouth, Fulham play Everton and Southampton meet Wolves.

For the Merseysiders, it could be a chance to lay to rest the ghosts of their 2-0 loss to Chelsea in April 2014. The Reds had looked on course to win their first Premier League title that season, but defeat at Anfield – precipitated by Steven Gerrard’s infamous slip – ultimately saw them pipped at the post by Manchester City. 

City, meanwhile, also face a tricky task as they take on a Palace side that beat them 3-2 in the reverse fixture thanks to an Andros Townsend wonder goal.
