I'm a big surround music fan and made this album so I can listen it in surround through headphones on a portable player. Dolby Headphone, sometimes referred to as Mobile Surround, is a technology which creates a virtual surround sound environment in real-time using any set of two channel stereo headphones. The sources are all surround versions of the tracks ripped from the DVD-A.

Reanimation is the first remix album by American rock band Linkin Park. At the time of its release, Reanimation seemed an unusual move for a rap-metal group with just one previous album to its credit, the multi-platinum Hybrid Theory. Yet Linkin Park's long and versatile career now explains this album, a remix of Hybrid Theory inspired by hip-hop and electronica, as the first sign of the group's ever-evolving artistry. Linkin Park wasn't content being just another hard rock band; its members knew its music had other dimensions to explore. LP's Mike Shinoda and DJ Joe Hahn oversaw this project and invited a well-chosen variety of underground hip-hop names, including Alchemist, Cheapshot, Dilated Peoples' Evidence, and Kutmasta Kurt. Reanimation helped the many underground hip hop artists that it featured reach a larger audience, as well as changing the nature of the work so significantly that it could be considered an entirely new album.
