Film synopsis

Finding little support or love at home, young German boy Micha (Jonas Kipp) resorts to joining a group of bullies at school. His association with these thuggish youths sets Micha on a troublesome path. Making matters worse, his home life only deteriorates as his father (Burghart Klaussner) contends with divorce and poverty, leading to violent outbursts. Micha tries to take refuge in his imagination, but, inevitably, he has to return to his grim reality.
