Taking place largely over the course of one tense night, Carol Reed’s
psychological noir is set in an unnamed Belfast. A revolutionary ex-con
leads a robbery that goes horribly wrong. Injured and hunted by the

Reed and cinematographer Robert Krasker create images of stunning
