A radio dramatisation of the classic comedy crime drama, starring Dame Sybil Thorndike. To American ears it will sound strange that although set in Brooklyn, nobody speaks with an American accent!

For those not familiar with the story, two spinster sisters take in lodgers and offer a final service those lodgers who are lonely or depressed by murdering them, to be buried in the cellar by their brother Teddy, who thinks he is building the Panama canal. All is well until their nephew discovers their sideline - only to reveal that he too has a body to dispose of
