Giunto dal suo paesello in città, Chang Chao An viene accolto cordialmente nella famiglia di Hain e di sua sorella Kyoto Mai. Ottiene lavoro in una fabbrica di ghiaccio: casualmente scopre che nell'interno del ghiaccio si trova della droga da contrabbandare. I direttori dell'industria, fatti scomparire due scomodi testimoni, tentano invano di comprare il silenzio di Chang mettendolo a capo dei lavoranti ma lui si schiera decisamente contro il proprietario della fabbrica. Maestro della lotta, il giovane dimenticando le promesse fatte alla vecchia madre, vendica sanguinosamente tutti coloro che sono stati uccisi per aver scoperto l'illecito traffico.
